Best Goth Movie

Postby Anonimus » Tuesday 22. November 2005, 11:13

I thought it might be interesting to talk about movies hosting Gothic characters. The movie genre is not important, so it doesn't have to be a Horror.

My fave will always be "The Craft" movie where Fairuza Balk is witching around in her sexy Goth suit. I think she already earned her place in Gothic fashion history.

i think that the movie, which calls "königin der verdammten" is a good goth-movie...i don't know how it named in english, but it's the movie where aaliyah is the vampire queen an korn made the soundtrack ;)

Queen of the damned was good but more like a vampire movie than a goth one :)
Wracked with your charm
I am circled like prey
Back in the forest
Where whispers persuade
More sugar trails
More white lady laid
Than pillars of salt

Hm yeah, Queen of the Damned is maybe one of the most important movies for our scene... I mean, it's not only the clothing style similar to *our* style... Or what about *the crow*? The way, the movie is shown... It's all about dark atmosphere and romantic in a damned world... A love, which makes Eric come back for revenge of the murderer of him an his wife.... ;)

Bram stoker's dracula. I absolutely love the whole gothic victorian style, so this would have to be the best one for me.

The covenant seems very interesting, can't wait to see it. maybe.
I am an ancient, and yet I am a child. I know many things, and yet I remain ignorant. I am a mystery, yet I am an open book to those who are willing to study and translate the text. I am a contradiction unto myself..... Share with me your dreams, your loves, hurts, fears.......your souls if you wish.... I promise to take care of them......
